ONTHE OUTSIDE
SABLE► BRIEF,
Like her name-sake, Sable has black fur with white touches
A tuxedo molly with amber eyes
► APPEARANCE,
Beauty may truly be in the eye of the beholder- and in Sableface's eyes, she is utterly perfect. From her flowing, shiny, gorgeously pitch-black and white-struck fur, to her chiseled and angular physique. Other cats have certainly come close in her mind, but nobody has ever dethroned her from the claim of most beautiful cat in ShadowClan.
Not that everyone agrees, but she fiercely denies that there is anybody who sees otherwise. She struts and saunters and sashays her way through camp with a swinging gait designed to catch the eye, far from natural, and a good look at her fur shows that it's never, ever, not once, out of place. Because her fur has some added length, this means Sable spends an insane amount of time just sitting and grooming herself. Hairballs are common.
Her long tail and whiskers give her great balance, but she never considers this. Rather she sees them as features made to frame her face and to show off her plume of fur. Her paws are large and webbed for trekking across the muddy ShadowClan terrain. And of course (or at least, in her eyes), her ears, eyes, and nose are perfectly proportioned and situated on her head.
ONTHE INSIDE
FACE► TRAITS,
representing her rather attractive appearance and well-groomed fur
+Confident + Determined + Adventurous + Brave+
-Snobby - Vain - Selfish - Mean-
► PERSONALITY,
+Confident+
There isn't anything that can knock this high-headed cat off her equally high horse. She could conquer the world if she set her mind to it. The Clans would bow and rogues reform, and kittypets find their sense of courage.
+Determined+
If Sable put her mind to it, she could turn the whole world upside down. Her force of will alone could make trees sprout from clouds and the sun rise from the ground.
+Adventurous+
Sableface has an intense sense of wanderlust and adventure. She wants to see everything, do everything, EXPERIENCE life. She wants to feel every rush, every Adrenalin dose pumping through her veins.
+Brave+
A mix of the above means that Sable doesn't think twice before racing into dangerous situations- too self confident and excited to realize she could easily die.
-Snobby-
Sable is pretty sure she's better then everyone else. She looks down on most others and likes to flaunt that she's just plain 'ol better then you.
-Vain-
Clearly the most beautiful cat to walk the earth, Sable isn't at all at odds with her appearance. She's gorgeous and she knows it, and she throws it in the faces of cats she doesn't like.
-Selfish-
Sable takes what she wants when she wants it, without any regard for other cats. She does what she wants, takes what she wants, and don't you dare get in her way, or you'll have a flurry of claws and lashing words to deal with.
-Mean-
She can be down-right mean and cruel when she's in a bad mood, purposely digging into wounds and driving her words into soft spots to do as much damage as possible. Considering how moody this cat often is, this happens unfortunately often.

AHISTORY
Before there was Sableface, there was Nightfur and Ravenwing. The pair were far from lovers. Nightfur was a player who hopped from cat to cat, flaunting herself whenever possible. Ravenwing was the pick of the night- and while the Clan and Night herself aren't even sure which of her buddies are the father of her kittens, truth would reveal that her particular lineage travels back to him.
With an especially good newleaf behind her, and having already had one (stillborn) kitten behind her, Nightfur birthed a massive five kitten litter. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, Blackkit is too runty and frail to thrive, and dies before his first morning.
The rest, however, are all healthy and strong kittens, all with dark pelts and white marks.
Nightfur was inattentive, and with three brothers, Sable had to steele herself to compete. The molly didn't always have enough milk for the whole litter to get full bellies, so they were pushed to freshkill and weaning early. Before they had fully given up milk, however, out-right spats complete with baby spit and puffy pelts often ensued.
Needless to say, petty sibling rivalry drove a chasm between the littermates very early on. Their idea of fun was pulling mean pranks and ganging up on eachother. None were too upset when the day came to gain mentors.
Sablepaw's mentor was a sultry old egotistical warrior who had more then a few dirty tricks up her sleeves. Heatherfoot was more then happy to teach them all to her little trainee, whom had no issue at all with the less-then-noble techniques. Heather's own ego and constant praising did little to help Sablepaw's mindset.
Most of her apprenticeship went without trouble, though one of Sablepaw's brothers mysteriously ends up dead in the middle of the forest. Nobody really knows what happened, though it appears some large predator had gotten it's teeth into him. Why he wasn't eaten or even chewed on, though, nobody knows.
At fifteen moons, she gains her warrior name. Sableface. The idea of her gaining any humility is finally stuffed in a coffin and the death nail pounded in. She proudly flaunts her name and takes her vigil alongside her brothers as the idea is buried six feet under.
Sable doesn't much enjoy her life as a warrior. She feels lost, without much direction, until she meets him. The tom captures her attention in a way the she-cat can't really explain, and suddenly he's her everything. Her focus. Mapleblaze seemed to know it, too.
The two grow slowly closer, the tom's pleasant, if oddly distant demeanor making him more and more mysterious . Eventually, however, the pair become a couple.
It doesn't last long, because as it turns out, he's sort of a douche. As in, majorly. Anytime she begins to contradict him or says something he doesn't fancy, the tom pulls her aside to lecture her- and as time goes on, these lectures turn into threats. She attempts to distance herself from him but this leads to cornering and shouting matches and swipes and smacks over the head.
Sable decides she doesn't need to deal with this at all. While out on a hunting patrol with him and another tom, Moleshade, she suddenly attacks Maple. There's little warning, but Mole quickly pulls her off. She finds herself against the pair of them as spats of -traitor- and -dog- and -rogue- are spat, though as Maple goes on a monologue of venom and toxicity towards her, Mole seems to rethink his choice of sides. Turning against the larger tom, Mole leaves Maple with a set of clawmarks on his shoulder before backing out of the sight.
Sable does her best to beat the tom into a pulp without actually marking him up too badly. The pair would have been equally matched had it not been for her element of surprise. Mole stayed, if only to ensure nobody died, and let them settle their differences. The pair duke it out, and eventually Sable rising victorious. She warns Maple that next time won't be too pleasant.
The group returns to camp and in a silence of agreement, blame the injuries on a rogue. Nobody questions it.
Mole later confronts Sable out of camp, getting in her face and generally just acting like a doodle. The pair resort to screeches in eachother's faces, the tom's words eventually breaking her into tears before she swipes at him, putting a good notch in his ear.
A fued is sparked between herself and the tom, and suddenly every chance she gets she's lashing out at him. That is, until he's given an apprentice.
At first she targets the young molly as well- though her first attempt to intimidate the little cat results in the apprentice getting in her face and, stunned by the younger's boldness and witty retorts, Sable has to pause her attack and back off.
Sable takes a liking to the young molly, and it's clear the feeling is mutual. She also notices that it seems little Dapplepaw also has Moleshade wrapped around her paws, too. It takes hardly a pleading mew to convince him to let Sable tag along during their training and patrols.
By the time Dapplepaw is made Dapplecrow, it's as if she's got two doting companions. It's a love and protection over the young cat which brings Sable and Mole to an uneasy, distrusting peace, and both feel immense pride over their shared apprentice being made a warrior.
Since then, their antics have been ever terrible- especially when Sable decided to fling herself at two alliance cats on the border. Mole and Dapple, of course, followed.
Similar trouble is sure to ensue.
