ONTHE OUTSIDE
TAWNY► BRIEF,
for her lovely patched dark-and-gold fur
A dilute calico molly with dull amber eyes
► APPEARANCE,
It might be hard to see, at first glance, what makes Tawnyberry 'specially'. Her fur is a dull grey with cream splashes and faded stripes- like an old tapestry left out in the sun too long. Her frame is small and unimpressive, and closer inspection reveals dull eyes, a dark nose, and over-all 'average' features.
It's not until you look at the big picture that you start to see the specialization to this she-cat's build. Thin shoulders and a thin frame combined with moderate, lightly-boned legs, give her the perfect build for maximum speed racing through the moors. Her short height lets her slip into rabbit burrows with ease should she need to hide or take shelter. Her biggest physical disadvantage is how dainty she is- but she's got big 'ol warriors to do the heavy lifting for her, don't worry! She carries herself with a quick, light-footed gait, constantly jogging, never running. She simply has too much energy to contain into a boring WALK.
Tawny's only scar is a nick on her right shoulder from a rabbit when her mentor tried to teach her to hunt. Besides that, her pelt and features are totally unmarred.
ONTHE INSIDE
BERRY► TRAITS,
For her skill at healing
Energetic | Optimistic | Cheerful
Overwhelming | Aloof | Oblivious
► PERSONALITY,
Energetic, unstoppable, stupidly optimistic and cheerful- all these traits can make Tawnyberry just a touch overwhelming, and you bet your whiskers she has no idea when she's just a touch too much for someone to handle. She's aloof, not the most fond of physical touch or affection, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy a good tussle or small-talk now and then!
But let's start from the beginning. Tawnyberry is energetic, terrifyingly so. She's always running, jumping, fidgeting, or prancing in place. Questions come out as shouts, rapidfire and unstoppable.
She's cheerful and optimistic. She sees the bright side of most situations and won't falter in her attempts to make everyone else see it, too! She'll go to almost any length to cheer up a clanmate, even if they don't appreciate it...
Yeah, that's right. She has no idea when her intentions are going the wrong way, or cats are just plain sick and tired of her. It takes someone pretty blunt to tell her she's unwanted. But no worries! This forgiving soul won't be too upset.
Despite her energy, Tawnyberry is actually quite cowardly. When actually insulted or challenged she backs down very quickly, not having the guts to stand up to someone. She runs, or tries to distract threats rather then facing them on, and the thought of dieing terrifies this cat, despite her confidence that she'd find herself in StarClan.
It's unsurprising, considering she can never sit still, that she hates cuddling and doesn't really like being grabbed, touched, or having her space invaded. Of course if she willingly invades YOUR space it's all fine- but the rules with this molly are, usually, no touchy touch.

AHISTORY
Tawnykit was one of three in a litter that formed a near rainbow of colors. Lilac-esque shades to golds and oranges, to tans and browns and blacks. Her parents were extremely proud of their litter, not just because of their appearance, but also because all three kittens were healthy and strong.
Tawnykit loved to play and chase her siblings. She was easily the most hyperactive one of the bunch, constantly picking fights and tackling and sneaking up behind her siblings and parents. It was expected that she'd grow to be some exceptionally skilled hunter, or maybe an overwhelming flurry on the battlefield.
The medicine cat, however, had other ideas. Hawkroot saw a quick learner in the young cat, and he knew he was beginning to reach his upper moons. He'd be a fool to put off appointing an apprentice any longer.
Tawnykit, originally, opposed the idea. She shouted her arguments in her squeaky, shrilly voice- but as it was explained to her, how SPECIAL she'd be, the little cat was smitten with the idea.
Tawny was a pawful as an apprentice. She terrified her patients as she practically smothered them with questions and love and more questions. Her energy tends to be draining rather then contagious, and Hawkroot found himself constantly having to step in to correct her or calm the cat down.
But she had good intentions, and she WAS a quick learner. Tawnypaw excelled in her training, just as competitive as any warrior apprentice is expected to be.
When she was 20 moons old Tawnypaw received her full name- Tawnyberry. She's ecstatic and adores her name, and if you didn't hear what it was through sharing tongues, you PROBABLY heard her proudly, and all-too-loudly, announcing it to any cat who'd ask. She'd chatter on and on about it- what it stood for, what an HONOR it was. Nobody would ever forget it.
Her patients were probably a little fearful now that she had full control of their fates, but now that she had a super important, mature name to live up to, Tawny seemed to be less scattered. She was more mature and laid back- at least, for a few moons. That phase didn't last too long.
At 28, Tawny and her mentor are helping cats during one of the WindClan/ShadowClan battle, when a stray warrior mistakes her mentor as an opponent. The old tom is attacked and mauled, and though he escapes- Tawny can't find him in the chaos. She's attacked as well but manages to wiggle away from her opponent before they can do much damage- and then she flees.
Later, as they gather their wounded, WindClan is dismayed to find to older tom had passed away to his injuries. His advanced age and already failing health made this unsurprising, and his injuries weren't even that severe. Tawny mourns, though she bounces back fairly quickly.
Now she works to keep them dang refugees in LINE, and remind 'em who's really the medicine cat around here! IF those cats think they're gonna get away with something, they're completely wrong. Not while Tawnyberry's around! Of course, the Alliance concerns her too, but Tawny doubts they'll attack a third clan. They got plenty of land, why would they need more?
