May Activity Check

Rise Up uses activity checks to track which characters are currently active and posting. It helps us to manage high rank activity, and additionally, it's a way for users to clean up any unwanted or unneeded threads!

PLEASE NOTE: all characters made on or after 5/1/16 are safe and do not need to pass the activity check. Additionally, characters of users with an absence posted prior to this check are safe.

In order for a character to pass the activity check, one of the following requirements must be met!

A) Character must be an involved poster of a currently active thread (A thread that has been posted in during the last twenty days)
B) Character must have started a currently open thread
C) Character finished a thread within the last 7 days

Additionally, in order to reclaim a previously lost character, you will need to complete an extra requirement on their behalf! Example:

I have one character, Awesomestar, and my other character Coolclaw was lost during last month's activity check. Awesomestar recently finished a thread, so I use that to pass him through this activity check- but because I want Coolclaw back, I also include Awesomestar's open thread for extra credit.

Failing to pass the activity check (failing to post or simply not meeting the requirements) will result in all failing characters being removed. You will have two months (two more activity checks) to reclaim these characters, before they're lost forever. Additionally, high ranks and adopted ranks permanently lose their rank. They can apply for it again, but there's no guarantee they'll be accepted.
