Daily checkup
What an absolutely beautiful morning! Tawnyberry's nest, at the back of the large burrow dug into the hill-side, was always plush and comfortable. She'd woken after an amazing night's sleep to be greeted with the fresh, crisp scent of green, recently-picked herbs. No sick cats, nobody dieing, no poor weather.
Indeed it was beautiful outside. The sun was high and the air was warm, and as she emerged from the shelter of her den Tawnyberry was struck with the urge to just BOUNCE. She took a couple hopping steps from the burrow before sweeping her bright gaze over the gathered cats.
Everyone was just bustling today, but the way Tawnyberry saw it, today was the perfect day to start doing check ups. She'd finally gotten on top of her herb stores, gotten a whole bunch gathered and tucked away. It was time to start actually making sure nobody was SICK.
And you knew warriors, the dumbies would catch blackcough and not even realize it. They were sure lucky they had a brilliant medicine cat like her around to save 'em.
Her ears flicked forward and after a few moments of watching, Tawnyberry selected her victim. "Hey!! Hey you!!" Came the yowl as she hopped forward, bounding right up to the cat in question and flashing them a broad grin.
"You're comin' with me! Mandatory checking for ticks and bites and sicknesses!" She explained, flicking her tail towards the gaping entrance of her burrow. She didn't care if they wanted to come with or not, she'd drag 'em by their ears if she needed to!
